“A ship is always safe at shore, but that's not what it's built for.” Albert Einstein
It can be so easy to stay in our comfort zone- often without even realising it.
But it comes at a price.
The safety and ease of being in our comfort zone means that we don’t learn and grow.
Of course when we’re stressed all we want to do is find our way back into some kind of ease so that we can finally relax.
But even this can become a kind of familiar world that on some level we don’t want to or feel we can’t leave.
And if we don’t take that first step nothing ever changes.
Becoming conscious of the interplay between the familiar and unfamiliar, certainty and uncertainty and how we express this in the different areas of our life is so powerful.
It puts us back in touch with our creative centre- the place where our best ideas and inspiration come from.
And this is the very same doorway that leads us into our authentic purpose, our best self and greatest contribution.
What small bold act could you do today to change your world?
